Charlotte

Co-founder. Designer. Alchemist.

Equal owner of Legend Bridal and one half of its creative heart, she moves fluently between vision and execution; designing, making, problem-solving, and steering the business with the same steady hand. Her work lives in the details: construction, accessories, finishing, and the quiet decisions that turn an idea into something powerful and wearable.

Often described as the most Wednesday Addams of the team, she balances deep creativity with sharp pragmatism; able to dream wildly, then calmly ask what needs to happen now. A skilled seamstress with an instinct for structure and form, she brings both imagination and discipline to every piece that leaves the studio.

Outside of Legend, she can usually be found at festivals with her high-school-sweetheart husband, whom she married in a pagan handfasting ceremony - dressed, of course, in black.

Rachel B

Co-founder. Lead Designer. Technical Anchor.

Equal owner of Legend Bridal and its lead designer, Rachel is the hand that turns vision into form. A specialist in bridal construction and couture technique, she has been designing and creating wedding dresses for over two decades, following her graduation from Liverpool John Moores in 2002 straight into the world of bridal.

Rachel is the technical constant; the one who solves the impossible, holds the standard, and ensures every gown is built to last, fit, and move beautifully. Her particular love is fine, intricate work; beading, embellishment, and detail-heavy pieces are where she finds calm and focus, happily disappearing into hours of precise handwork.

Outside the studio, Rachel and her husband Paul are most at home on the road, van doors open to unexpected horizons or working alongside family, shaping and tending the land. And if there’s a tattoo convention woven into the journey, all the better.

Rachel H

After working in the wedding industry for over 20 years and with Legend since 2014 Rachel has been with us since the early days. Having specialised in the ultra technical bridal alterations field Rachel recently completed her fashion and textiles degree and graduated in 2021.

Rachel is a newly wed herself and loves nothing more than hearing all about your wedding plans

Always the first to offer help and volunteer for extra projects and events Rachel truly needs a personal assistant to manage her bustling calendar - volunteers for the role can apply within. You’ll be paid in laughter and cake

Chloe

Your first contact with Legend is probably with Chloe. If you reach out via email, through our website or over the phone then it’s Chloe that will guide you through the process of making an appointment and answering any questions you might have about working with us.

When Chloe isn’t keeping us in check she can be found blowing out the cobwebs wild swimming or chilling with her ukulele and a cup of tea.

Wendy

Wendy has been helping brides feel a million dollars in their wedding dresses for over 20 years, she started out making dresses for Cupid, later in her own bridal shop and now working for us.

As an Elvis fanatic, Wendy loves nothing more than rocking up to tributes on a Saturday night, as well as a good ol’day out charity shopping (as long as there’s coffee and cake involved at the end of it).

Ruby

Ruby has been sewing since the age of 15 before going on to study textiles at Runshaw College. She started out making and customising her own clothes, which were so good that her friend commissioned her to make her wedding dress!

At the weekend you can find her frolicking at the beach with her two children or tending to her beloved plants. She is also slightly obsessed with Halloween… but I mean, who isn’t?
