As the daughter of Persephone and Hades, Melinoe is closely associated with the dead. She is the Goddess of propitiation or the act of giving justice to the dead. She takes the offerings from loved ones and carries them across the underworld to the troubled souls. If the offerings do not appease these souls however she will lead their ghosts out of the underworld for retribution.

Gold (saffron) or ivory and black, dark and light, peace and retribution. Black floral sequined lace creeps over rosy/gold or ghostly ivory tulle; the basque bodice extending to a soft a-line skirt and flowing train. Further accentuated with black velvet ribbon tracing a 6 pointed unicursal star and soft tulle straps hand tied on the shoulder.

For UK orders please allow 12 months for creation and shipping of your dress

As our dresses are made to our standard size chart we recommend ensuring time for alterations should you need them. Please get in touch before placing an order if you are concerned about timescales so we can give you a more accurate estimate based on current workloads.

International

We require a minimum of 18 months for all international orders, we kindly ask that you send a message via our contact page so that we can discuss your dress, shipping/tariffs and the best way forward to make your dream dress come true.
