Beth & Sam at HaganFest 2021 - A Metal Festival Inspired Wedding

Beth & Sam wanted a wedding reflecting their love of metal music and festivals, and what better way to do that than with their own festival - Haganfest 2021! Complete with festival wristbands and drink tokens - seriously cool!

As the world entered some kind of apocalyptic sleep state through the pandemic, festivals and celebrations ceased to exist and unfortunately Beth & Sam had to postpone their wedding too, but you can see from the pictures that it was well worth the wait and the cake topper says it all ‘fucking finally’!

Beth contacted us in January of 2020 on the hunt for an alternative black wedding dress; you’ve come to the right place Beth! Zorya was the ONE, one of our collection dresses, it just needed a little tweaking and customisation to make it 100% Beth. We added a wide band at the waist along with moon and star embellishments and a detachable cape with stars at the hem!

In menswear, Sam was choosing his fabrics for the most metal of suits; a black morning coat and trousers and a waistcoat of deep plum brocade, finished with silver moon scene buttons and a plum cravat! We will never tire of a purple and black combo!

Sam also treated his groomsmen to matching cravats, and we love these shots of the guys looking like the most formal of metal bands.

On to the evening reception, obviously Beth & Sam had a live band playing all of their favourite tunes and the party was well underway! Our lovely friend Vicky Dubois stayed they whole day snapping the very special moments along with the very metal moments and has done an incredible job of capturing the atmosphere of Beth & Sam’s HaganFest wedding!

We’ve since bumped into Beth and Sam at Bloodstock and they both very kindly walked the Real Bride Runway at EWE in Birmingham for us; we love keeping in touch with our couples and wish Beth and Sam a long, happy and metal future together!
