Evangeline Crown
Handmade in the UK by Howling Moon
Evangeline looks like something that grew.
Delicate metallic branches rise around the head, unfurling into leaves and ornate filigree flowers, while slender glass points emerge between them like crystals discovered amongst the undergrowth.
Our Evangeline sample combines deep emerald green stones with antique brass, giving the crown the rich, earthy feeling of an old enchanted woodland - but changing the stone and metal colours transforms her completely.
Choose clear stones with bright silver for something icy and ethereal, amber with antique copper for autumnal warmth, or let aqua aura glass catch the light in shifting rainbow tones.
Despite her height and intricacy, Evangeline is designed to be lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The Feeling
Evangeline belongs somewhere between wild garden and fairy court.
She's botanical without becoming a flower crown, regal without the formality of a traditional tiara, and fantastical without feeling like costume.
The branches climb rather than sit neatly around the head. Leaves twist between crystal-like points. Tiny flowers appear amongst the metalwork.
There's something beautifully unruly about her.

Unlike some of the Howling Moon pieces in our collection, Evangeline's coloured points are glass rather than natural stone, allowing us to offer a much broader spectrum of colour.
And frankly, I like being really transparent about that rather than letting “crystal crown” accidentally imply they're all pieces of quartz.

The metal finish can change Evangeline almost as much as the stones.
Bright silver and gold bring out her more celestial, fairy-court side, while antique brass and copper make the branches feel older, earthier and as though they might have been unearthed rather than newly made.
Our studio sample combines emerald green with antique brass.
Styling Evangeline
Evangeline is a statement crown, but the open structure stops her from feeling heavy around the face.
She's particularly beautiful against loose waves, braids and textured updos, where the branches can appear to grow upwards through the hair.
With a simple dress, she can become the focal point of the whole look. Against lace, chiffon, embroidery or other botanical details, she becomes part of a much more layered, otherworldly silhouette.
And there are no prescribed dress pairings here.

Elodie Crown
Handmade in the UK by Howling Moon
Elodie is built around one material: moonstone.
Natural moonstones sit amongst delicate branching metalwork, following the head in an organic woodland silhouette rather than rising into the structure of a traditional tiara.
Our studio sample pairs moonstone with antique silver, giving Elodie a beautifully pale, quiet quality, but she can also be created in bright gold, antique brass or antique copper.
The design is also available with natural labradorite as her darker sister, Luna.
The Feeling
Elodie feels like moonlight through bare branches.
She's quieter than many of the Howling Moon designs. There are no enormous crystal points or elaborate flowers competing for attention — just pale natural stones held amongst delicate metalwork.
Witchy without being theatrical. Woodland without being leafy. Ethereal without disappearing into conventional bridal prettiness.
For someone who wants their magic whispered rather than announced.

Elodie is available exclusively with natural moonstone.
Because moonstone is a natural material, individual stones will vary in translucency, markings, colour and the way they respond to light.
Those variations mean no two Elodie crowns will ever be completely identical.

Selene Crown
Handmade in the UK by Howling Moon
Selene replaces traditional bridal crystals with something altogether more organic.
Delicate metallic leaves sweep around the head amongst genuine freshwater pearls, creating a crown that feels luxurious without becoming polished or formal.
Our studio sample combines soft gold with black peacock freshwater pearls — dark, lustrous and filled with shifting colour rather than uniform black.
For something lighter, Selene can also be created in silver and with ivory freshwater pearls.
The Feeling
Selene is organic opulence.
Freshwater pearls bring all the richness we associate with traditional bridal jewellery, but their natural shapes and variations stop Selene from ever feeling too perfect.
Add leaves rather than conventional settings and suddenly pearls feel different.
Older. Wilder. A little stranger.
In ivory, Selene becomes soft and ethereal.
In black peacock, she moves firmly into darker territory, with flashes of green, purple and bronze appearing as the pearls catch the light.

Freshwater Pearl Options
Black Peacock
These aren't uniform jet-black beads.
Peacock freshwater pearls are loved for their dark surfaces and shifting overtones, which can move through greens, purples, bronze and other colours depending on the individual pearl and the light.
Ivory
Soft, luminous and much lighter in character, ivory freshwater pearls bring out Selene's more ethereal side.
As genuine freshwater pearls, individual shape, surface and colour will naturally vary.

Soft gold with peacock pearls creates Selene at her darkest and richest.

Styling Selene
Selene is ideal if you love the organic quality of Howling Moon but raw crystal isn't quite your thing.
She works beautifully with lace, botanical embroidery and flowing fabrics, but can be equally striking against something stark and simple.
And because the pearl-and-leaf silhouette wraps around the head rather than towering above it, she brings detail without dominating the entire look.

Dusk Venus Crown
Handmade in the UK by Howling Moon
Dusk Venus lets the stones do the talking.
Large crystal points rise around the head in a simple, striking silhouette, their raw, irregular shapes giving the crown an organic quality that feels worlds away from the symmetry and polish of a traditional bridal tiara.
Choose black titanium quartz for something dark and dramatic, clear rock crystal for a lighter, almost icy ethereal finish, or pink hematite for something softer and altogether more unexpected.
Because these are natural stones, no two crowns will ever be completely identical. The size, shape and formation of the individual points will vary, making those differences part of the finished piece rather than something to be disguised.
The Feeling
Dusk Venus feels elemental.
There are no flowers winding between the stones and no elaborate architecture competing for attention. Just raw crystal rising from the head like something formed rather than decorated.

Black Titanium Quartz
Dark quartz points with an intense metallic quality. This is Dusk Venus at her moodiest: dramatic, striking and unapologetically alternative.
Clear Rock Crystal
Natural clear quartz gives the crown an entirely different character. Light catches through the irregular points, creating something raw and earthy that can still feel incredibly ethereal.
Pink Hematite
A softer, warmer alternative to black or clear, bringing an unusual rosy metallic quality to the crown without turning it into conventional bridal prettiness.
As natural materials, the stones will vary in size, shape, clarity, texture and colour. Your crown will therefore be uniquely yours.

This is another one where I think the combination matters enormously.
Black + black titanium quartz gives you the full dark ritual crown.
Bright silver + clear rock crystal takes exactly the same design somewhere much more icy and ethereal.
Antique brass/copper + clear crystal would feel wonderfully archaeological — almost like something old that's been dug out of the earth.
And pink hematite + antique copper could be absolutely gorgeous.
Styling Dusk Venus
Because the silhouette is so clean, Dusk Venus can take quite a lot happening around her.
Against chiffon, lace or layers of texture, those raw points give the softness something harder to play against. With a simpler gown, the crown itself becomes the statement.
She also doesn't need an elaborate hairstyle. Loose waves, braids, textured updos or something deliberately simple all allow the natural crystal formation to remain the focus.
Wearing Dusk Venus With a Veil
The strong, open silhouette of Dusk Venus works beautifully against soft tulle.
A veil worn behind the crown gives the stones a beautifully simple backdrop and lets their irregular shapes remain visible rather than disappearing into other embellishment.

The character of Dusk Venus comes from the fact that nature doesn't produce identical crystal points.
Every crown will vary slightly from the photographs and from the next one made. Stones may differ in shape, size, texture and clarity.
We don't consider those differences flaws.
