A Celebration of Summer’s Abundance

Every now and then, everything falls into place. The weather is kind, the garden is overflowing, friends gather around a table, and before long you're reminded that beauty doesn't need to be complicated. It simply needs to be noticed. That was exactly how our recent photoshoot at The Orchard at Wood End felt.

In fact, one of the biggest misconceptions about gothic weddings is that they're defined by how they look rather than why they exist.

To understand what a gothic wedding really is, we need to look beyond the colour palette and into the ideas, emotions and culture that inspire it.

She and Alessandro had been together for eighteen years. Their wedding was never going to be about reinvention. It was about recognition. About creating a day that felt honest. And for Sara, that meant finding a dress that carried the same dark romance, individuality, and quiet strength that already shaped the rest of her life.
